Surfing

Arugam Bay is the third in the list for surf points in the world. The season is between May and November for surfing at Arugam Bay with the predominant wind.

Crocodile Rock

A half and hour journey to the south will leave you with a Twenty minutes walk along another beautiful beach to rech Crocodile Rock.

Kumana Bird Sanctuary

One of the oldest and the biggest where more than 20 local and migrate birds could be seen at this sanctuary park. It’s only 24 km to the east of the hotel and it takes 1½ hours drive and hotel could arrange half a day or full day tour to Kumana Birds Sanctuary in a four-wheel vehicle with a guide.

Okanda

This is located on the way to Kumana and you could see an ancient temple on the rock and a panoramic view of the indian Ocean and this is a natural thick jungle. It is said in the history that Lord Siva has bathe in this place.

Lahugala National Park

This magnificence park is located on the way to pottuvil. It’s only 10 km from the hotel to the south. You can find wild elephants throughout the day with little and old ones. We could arrange you full day or half a day trip to the Lahugala National Park in four-wheel vehicles.

Magul Maha Viharaya

Magul Maha Viharaya is just only 7 km from the hotel and this is an oldest Buddhist temple.

Kutumbigala Tharuengala Temple

This place is on the way to lahugala and this heritage is on top of a big rock and where young and old monks maritage here.
